Project
SKILLS will develop an innovative learning system, validating existent non formal and informal learning and combining them with different methodological approaches and innovative contents for training co-operators to become more aware and active. The aim will be to answer to the needs of the validation and structuring of training for co-operators that are not embedded at national and regional levels of the countries involved as people tend to work in co-operatives without a precise idea of social enterprises and without specific skills in accounting, administration and law.
The SKILLS system will propose a model of intervention both to respond to the need of training of these specific targets, and to analyse and validate the existent non formal and informal learning opportunities on the basis of a shared balance of skills. In this way, the system will give a general model for the validation of the pre-existent non formal and informal learning in the world of cooperation.
The cycle of SKILLS activities is made up of different steps involving the cooperators directly in:
- the analysis of the different cooperative systems involved in the project in order to identify the learning objectives and the skills to be gained necessary to have a more aware and active co-coperator;
- the collection of non-formal and informal learning occasions existent, and of reference, in the cooperative systems for the aware and active cooperator;
- the construction (and testing) of a learning system that combines existent experience and new contents and approaches in an innovative way for validating pre-existent non formal and informal learning referring to participatory and cooperative approaches using ICT supports;
- the validation of the learning system combining existent non-formal and informal learning occasions with innovative contents, methods and activities in order to make visible what people in cooperation learn outside formal education and training, giving them a possible way to improve their skills and training new cooperators;
- the use of the learning system in order to validate existent skills and proposing innovative ways to have a more aware and active cooperator.
